Phil Jagielka

Phil Jagielka joined Everton from Sheffield United for £4m in 2007 and rapidly became a firm fixture at the heart of the Blues defence. He scored the winning penalty in the FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester United in 2009 before suffering a serious knee injury against Manchester City a week later and missing the Final. He won his first England cap against Trinidad & Tobago in 2008 and was part of the 2012 European Championship squad that travelled to Poland and Ukraine.
