Crowds pack in to first day of Daily Post’s BusinessHub event

THE Daily Post’s LDP BusinessHub kicked off yesterday with hundreds of delegates attending at least part of the day-long event at the Echo Arena.

Visitors to the waterfront venue were treated to keynote speeches by some of the country’s best known names in business, including Coffee Republic founder Sahar Hashemi and jeweller Gerald Ratner.

The second day of the free to enter event takes place today.

It includes another keynote address, this time by Gu Chocolate Puds owner James Averdieck. A speed networking event, a series of seminars from local business experts and an 50-stand business exhibition give anybody in business good reason to get involved today.

Daily Post editor Mark Thomas said: “This is a unique event that has something for everybody in business in our region. The range of activities on offer mean there is huge scope for visitors to learn or discover something of value.”
