LIVERPOOL law firm DWF has appointed Alastair Young as finance director to support the firm’s continued growth following its recent merger with Ricksons. Mr Young has just relocated to the UK from Singapore after spending 18 years with British American Tobacco.
YORKSHIRE Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre in Liverpool has appointed Simon Berry as senior partner. Mr Berry, 49, joins following 32 years with HSBC. He will lead a team specialising in property transactions, acquisitions and management buyouts and supporting the region’s growing legion of successful importers and exporters.
ENGINEERING consultants and surveyors Sutcliffe have created a new business development division. Louise Mackay will head the new division as business development manager. A graduate of Liverpool John Moores University, she has over six years sales experience working for major blue chip companies like MBNA.

A LUX- URY Cheshire hotel has lured a head concierge from a top London hotel to join its new team. Frederic Fallies has left his post as head concierge at Park City Hotel in London to move to the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa in Tarporley.
