A LIVERPOOL design company has clinched a major deal to create an online campaign to promote pop legends Roxy Music.
Smiling Wolf, which is based in Hope Street, has been chosen by Virgin/EMI to create the campaign for the band’s forthcoming studio album.
This is the group’s first studio album for 20 years and will feature the classic mid-seventies line-up of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andrew Mackay and Paul Thompson. Simon Rhodes, 36, who is managing director of Smiling Wolf, said: “This is a major contract and we are delighted.“
Mr Rhodes will be responsible for promoting the new album and developing a website, together with an online campaign for Roxy Music.
He added: “The website will be like an archive for the band – taking people back to the early seventies. It is extremely exciting and great news for fans.”
