Property Aid plans night of riches for charities

A HOST of charities are in for a windfall when some of the biggest names in the property industry attend one of the city’s richest-ever charity balls.

The Liverpool Property Aid Ball is expected to raise more than £500,000 for a variety of good causes, including The NSPCC’s Safe Place appeal, Claire House, ZoĆ«’s Place and Marie Curie. Property Aid founders Maghull Developments, Downing, TRB Estates, Harvey Developments and Iliad are hoping the 600 guests will dig deep in support of the nominated charities.

Hill Dickinson, Norwich Union and Peel Holdings will sponsor the event which will take place in a marquee in the grounds of Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.

The ball will take place on September 29 and will include entertainment from Summer Pops’ chartbusters Deacon Blue and The Bootleg Beatles.
