Hopes high for next auction

SUTTON Kersh will sell 72 property lots at its Liverpool sale next week.

The company was recently confirmed as one of the leading prop- erty auction players in the north of England by Essential Inform- ation Group, a leading authority of property auction houses.

The Cotton Street-based practice has achieved sales of almost £30m from four auctions this year, making it the biggest operator in Merseyside. The average number of properties sold for the first six months to July in 2007 was 80%.

Director James Kersh said: “Most stories about property recently have been based around interest rate rises and how they are taking their toll on the market.

“In the light of this, we can reflect on our auction results as a very impressive period of performance and it’s a testament to Andrew Binstock's auctioneer skills and my team's dedication.

“The average UK residential success rate at auction is now around 60-70%, so we’re performing exceptionally well nationally too.”

The next auction is on, September 5, at the Marriott Hotel, Queen Square, Liverpool.
