PUBLIC relations agency Bell Pottinger North has been appointed by Liverpool Primary Care Trust (PCT) –following a four way pitch – as the retained agency to help actively promote its public health campaigns.
The initiatives currently being run across the city are the alcohol awareness campaign Pssst!; Liverpool Active City which encour-ages people to become more active, more often; A Taste for Health to help tackle obesity and smoking cessation service Roy Castle Fag Ends.
Gideon Ben-Tovim, chairman of Liverpool Primary Care Trust, said: “We’re delighted to have Bell Pottinger North on board as they have a proven record. “Next month we are launching our three-year Alcohol Harm Reduction Strategy to tackle the problems of alcohol in the city.
“Further initiatives are planned across all our public health campaigns to address obesity and smoking. We are determined to improve the quality of people’s lives.”
