Fast food project begins

WORK has started on a new fast food and retail development on one of Liverpool’s busiest gateways to the city centre.

Liverpool-based developer and investor, Clayson Developments, is behind the 5,000 sq ft speculative project on Great Howard Street, a mile north of the heart of the city, which is being funded by the Yorkshire Bank.

The roadside development will offer four 1,250 sq ft self-contained fast food or, subject to planning, shops. One has already been snapped up by international sandwich chain Subway.

Clayson Developments is constructing a single-storey building and the site also includes car parking. Work is scheduled to be completed next month.
