TRANSPORT employers in the North West are being given the opportunity to hear about new legislation that will affect all bus and lorry drivers this year by introducing a new initial qualification – the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC).
At an event to be held at Haydock Park racecourse on February 12, transport employers will be hearing from Beverley Bell, the North West Traffic Commissioner about “Operator Licensing in the 21st century”.
The event is intended to keep companies up to date with this essential legislation and also to show how companies can benefit from the neces- sary increased training.
More than 50 companies have already booked, and further bookings can be made by contacting Gill Farrer on 0151 229 1801.
