BANFF Construction’s refurbished Spectrum Court development, in Speke, has attracted its first tenant.
Fernley (Heathrow), which specialises in aircraft catering and cleaning services, will be moving onto the site next to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The refurbishment, funded by The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), has created 30,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse space.
The company provides aircraft cabin cleaning and washing services at several UK airports including Liverpool, Manchester, Heathrow, Stansted, and Luton.
Fernley and its parent company, International Aviation Services Group, were recently acquired by Gate Gourmet, a multi-national airline catering and logistics provider.
Aigburth-based Banff Construction specialises in residential and commercial property schemes and has already completed several developments in Liverpool, including Sefton Park, Childwall, and on the city’s waterfront.
Managing director Steve Hancock said: “We are very pleased to welcome Fernley to Spectrum Court, and expect all the other units to be let soon.”
