Software gives firm a lift

LIFTING equipment supplier New-Tonne Lifting Services has increased productivity and turnover after seeking help from St Helens Chamber.
The Newton-Le Willows-based firm took advantage of the chamber’s Business Winning Business project, funded by the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative, to install Pro-Engineer software.
Benjamin Dobbs, design engineer at Newtonne, said since the software had been installed, the company had completed 10 extra projects, increasing turnover by £40,000.
