Ambitious development plans could create 80 jobs

ENVIRONMENTAL consultancy MWH says the development of a new Project Services business unit at its UK headquarters in Warrington could create up to 80 jobs.

The unit will carry out project management work across the UK and will be led by Gareth Mills.

Mr Mills, 42, originally from Appleton, Warrington, said: “This new business unit is set to play such a vital role in MWH’s business development. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to take MWH’s reputation for expertise and superior client service into other sectors, replicating our pedigree in the water sector across other areas.

“There is a huge potential market for project management expertise in sectors where traditionally we have not operated. We have very ambitious plans and are looking to attract high-calibre individuals to join our talented teams.”

Mr Mills, who joined MWH from British Nuclear Fuels in 2001, added: “My aim for the unit is that it leads the industry in best practice, setting the gold standard for UK project management excellence.”
