LIVERPOOL’S construction sector held its first dedicated networking event this week.
Lindsey Ashworth, Director of Development at Peel, addressed more than 50 delegates at the inaugural buildingnet works@liverpool chamber event about the £5.5bn Liverpool Waters scheme.
The networking programme is organised by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with law firm Halliwells.
David Rawlinson, a partner at Halliwells, said: “Our aim is to establish buildingnet works@ liverpool chamber as the city's most effective networking forum for the construction sector and we have hit the ground running with our first event.”
Liverpool Chamber chief executive, Jack Stopforth, said: “This is a growing sector in the Merseyside area and we are keen to work with Halliwells to provide support to help it to continue growing.”
