BANK of Scotland Corporate in Liverpool has announced four new senior appointments.

Ian Henry and Alistair Pike join the team as directors focusing on bringing in new business. Mr Henry joins from the commercial banking team in Manchester while Mr Pike joins from the bank's real estate team.

Steve Johnson has joined BoS from Capital Bank as an associate director, while Dave Bridgen joins as an associate director from the bank's asset finance team in Newcastle.

COMMERCIAL law firm Bermans has recruited a former DLA associate to its specialised asset-based lending team.

Patricia Grinyer, 31, joins Tithebarn Street-based Bermans as a senior assistant solicitor after five years working in the banking division of the Liverpool office of DLA.

The asset based lending team is responsible for 40% of Bermans’ turnover and now has ten fee earners.

BARCLAYS Commercial Bank has appointed Giles Barton as its relationship director for Merseyside and Cheshire.

Mr Barton, who has joined Barclays after a long career at HSBC, will take on a large portfolio of existing customers and will also focus on new business development.

AINTREE Racecourse Retail and Business Park owner Orbit Developments has appointed Paul Hubball as senior development manager.

Mr Hubball, a former development manager with David McLean Developments, is tasked with identifying and securing opportunities for Orbit Developments across the North West and Cumbria.
