HUSBAND and wife owned social housing contracting business, AW Byrne, has secured approved supplier status on all North West housing framework agree- ments, and is the only company in the region to have achieved this.
The company won its first Fusion 21 agreement for painting and repairs last year, and followed it up in 2008 with kitchens, bathrooms, doors and central heating work.
Combined with the GM Procure agreement, also secured this year, the company, owned by Tony and Edna Byrne, will be carrying out work to more than 3,000 homes a year within these three contracts alone.
AW Byrne is also celebrating a number of new multi-million pound contract wins under long-term agreements with existing clients, including Venture Housing Association and Beechwood and Valentine Housing Association.
Mr Byrne said: “To have achieved this level of success and to have won this amount of work, following a sustainable and manageable growth plan, is a fantastic achievement for the whole team.”
