Insurance broker strikes key deal with Hard Day’s Night Hotel

THE Hard Day’s Night Hotel has teamed up with Liverpool broker Powell Insurance, after following the advice featured on an early Beatles track: “If you love me, baby (take out some insurance on me, baby)”.

Powell will provide insurance and risk management services to the 110-room Beatles-themed hotel, which opened on North John Street last month.

They will manage all of the hotel’s liability and property insurance requirements, including cover for the artwork and memorabilia collection.

Dave Quirk, a director of Powell Insurance said: “Hard Day’s Night Hotel is an exciting and welcome addition to Liverpool, and as a Liverpool business we’re obviously delighted to be involved in ensuring its long-term success.”

Mike Dewey, general man- ager of the four-star boutique hotel, said: “Insurance premiums represent a significant overhead for hotels, so it is critical we understand insurers’ requirements in order to minimise costs without compromising our cover.

“Powell’s approach to risk management has not only helped us reduce our insurance premiums but has enhanced our business operation.”
