Liverpool’s first pod hotel opens for business

THE first pod hotel has been opened in Liverpool.
Thirty-three rooms have been created for budget-conscious customers in a base-ment at Liv-erpool Inter-national Inn, in Hardman Street.
Unlike some pod rooms, Cocoon contains king-size beds and en suite facil-ities, and rooms cost £43.
Manager Leah Will-iams said: “It is a bou-tique pod hotel but with facili-ties you would ex-pect from a good hotel.”
