PROPERTY consultants GVA Grimley says Liverpool’s Old Hall Street area needs more Grade A space to satisfy demand.
In recent months Grimley has secured lettings at the St Paul’s Square development for HBOS and Davies Wallis Foyster as well as 12,200 sq ft for Liverpool Vision at the refurbished Capital.
However, director Ian Steele warns that once 20 Chapel Street and St Paul’s Square are fully let, there will be a shortage of Grade A space in the central business district.
He said: “There is currently Ša shortageŠ of new-build accommodation with only 20 Chapel Street and 5 St Paul's Square having available space and as a result occupiers have been forced to consider good quality refurbishedŠaccommodation.”
