Firm set to finish lifeboat station

BRICKWORKS contractor, Northern Brickwork Contracts, is approaching completion of a key construction stage in the development of Hoylake’s new lifeboat station.

Housed on the site of the former outdoor swimming baths, the £2m development will modernise Wirral's oldest lifeboat station housing a faster new response craft, which will replace the current boat, Lady of Hilbre.

Northern Brickwork is carrying out all brick and blockwork at the site, working directly for main sub-contractor Harry Fairclough who is set to complete the development in June 2008.

Jamie Hoskinson, Northern Brickwork finance director said: “As a local company, it’s great to be involved in the development of an important facility such as this.”
