NORTH Liverpool’s new edge-of-town office and industrial park has its first occupier following a deal which sees the Mason family sell Atlantic House to Sefton’s largest registered social landlord. The sale price was not disclosed.
The 35,000 sq ft Grade A office building has been acquired by One Vision Housing, which owns and manages the housing stock formally owned by Sefton Council. It will relocate its workforce from existing offices in Bootle.
The sale represents the largest out-of-town office deal in Merseyside this year, and is good news for the wider Atlantic Park estate, which has capacity for over 800,000 sq ft of commercial and industrial space in Dunnings Bridge Road.
The majority of the site is being developed by Royal London Asset Management. However, the Mason family retained sole ownership of a key 1.4- acre plot at the heart of the development and took the Atlantic House project forward alone.
Andrew Mason said: “The deal is fantastic news for Sefton and North Liverpool, not least because it shows such confidence in the area and will bring jobs and vitality to Atlantic Park.”
