FOUNDER of Gü chocolate puddings, James Averdieck, will be in conversation with LDP Business editor Bill Gleeson on CityTalk 105.9 this Sunday.
Mr Averdieck, who is a keynote speaker at the LDP Business HUB event at the Echo Arena next Wednesday, will be talking about how to create a brand from scratch. He saw an opportunity to combine a high- quality fresh product with efficient UK supermarket distribution and set about creating a brand from scratch.
Five years on, Gü claims to be the fastest-growing food company in the UK.
Also on the show, at 11am on Sunday, is an interview with fair trade pioneer Harriet Lamb, who spoke at Liverpool Hope University's Big Hope conference this week.
Ms Lamb, executive director of the Fairtrade Foundation, will discuss the growth of fair trade and how it can benefit the developing world.
The show will also reflect on the week’s business news, including the problems at bakers Sayers, and a look forward to the week ahead.
