New horizons as company relocates from city centre

GREENBERG Glass is switching operations from its Liverpool base, which is part of the Great Homer Street market redevelopment.

The commercial glass and glazing installer is moving its head office to Wellington Employ- ment Park, next to Sandhills station.

The move will involve over 100 employees being transferred to the new 33,500 sq ft premises.

Beryl Greenberg, marketing director said: “We installed the windows and entrances on phases 1 and 2 of Wellington Employment Park South so we worked with Langtree to design a bespoke factory and head office.

“We considered other locations, but one of our main criteria was to keep our team working together.”

The deal for the largest unit on the site leaves only six of the original 19 units available for sale and to let – ranging between 1,435 and 8,423 sq ft.

Langtree, owner of Wellington Employment Park South, the first comprehensive industrial develop- ment in the North Liverpool Docks area for over 10 years, has completed phase two of the devel- opment totalling over 100,000 sq ft of new industrial units to comple- ment Connect Business Village.

The new build B2 and B8 development on Dunes Way is of high quality specification and two miles north of Liverpool City Centre adjacent to Sandhills Merseyrail Station. Other tenants include, Norwest Marine and Pearsons Glass.

Jayne Furnival, senior property manager of Langtree added: “The development has already proved hugely popular.”

Joint agents are GVA Grimley and Keppie Massie.
