Top week in business

DOWNTOWN Liverpool in Business will next week launch its inaug- ural Business Week event in association with the Northwest Development Agency.
Running from June 23-27, the week comprises a series of individual events across the city.
Some of the highlights include an audience with Derek Hatton hosted by Liverpool Daily Post columnist Jim Hancock at the Radio City Tower. Mr Hatton is expected to speak for the first time about his experience as deputy leader of Liverpool City Council during the 80s.
Business Week will also include a debate with Phil Redmond and Joanne Jennings, chief executive of Liverpool One entitled “Beyond 08”.
