SPEKE-BASED home shopping company Shop Direct is spending £4m on a TV, print and online campaign for its website, Littlewoods-Direct.com.
The campaign begins on July 7 and last eight weeks.
Shot in Brazil, it has the tagline “bringing style to your door” and is designed to promote the range of products available, in addition to fashion clothing, and the convenience of online shopping.
It is part of a larger £16m investment in advertising by Shop Direct.
David Inglis, Shop Direct’s trading director, said: “This campaign signals our intention to maintain our position as the UK’s leading online and home shopping retailer.”
Shop Direct dropped Littlewoods from its corporate title in May but is using the name in its Littlewoods and LittlewoodsDirect brands.
The group includes Kays and Great Universal. Trading figures for the year to April, 2007, showed sales fell 12.5% to £1.76bn as it made a loss before interest and tax of £24.2m.
