Manager is chairman again

THE manager of Liver-pool’s Crowne Plaza Hotel has been appoint-ed chair of the Liver-pool Hoteliers Associa-tion a second time.
Stephen Roberts has been appointed after holding the chair be-tween 2002 and 2006.
Representing the growing number of hotels in the city, the association’s aim is to ensure Liverpool com-petes favourably as a visitor destination.
Mr Roberts said: “My goal is to work effect-ively with our tourism partners, particularly the Mersey Partnership and the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre in attracting business to the city.”
