MORE Than insurer RSA Insurance reported a larger-than-expected rise in first-half profits as inter-national growth offset flat trading in the UK.
Britain’s second-largest commercial insurer, which employs around 1,300 in Liverpool and a further 7,700 across the UK, saw pre-tax profits for the six months to June 30 rise 23% to £292m.
