THE owners of top restaurants 60 Hope Street and The Quarter are opening a new restaurant nearby.

Brothers Gary and Colin Manning are transforming a building on the corner of Hope Street and Faulkner Street into East-West fusion restaurant HoSt.

The restaurant, set to open in October, will seat 100 and will include a lounge bar and outdoor seating.

Its name was inspired by trendy New York area SoHo (South of Houston Street).

Gary Manning said: “The idea with HoSt is to expand on our existing values – family run, excellent food, and good service offering something completely different from multiple food chains and of course, our supply chain will remain local.

“HoSt will be an eatery that really encompasses the unique cultural quarter of the city that is Hope Street”.

The Manning brothers, who bought out silent partner Tom Morris, of Home Bargains parent TJ Morris, earlier this year to take full ownership of their company, will be unveiling plans for another venue in the Hope Street area later this month.
