Mark Chadwick, chief executive of Professionaliver- pool, said: “As China’s economy continues to expand and develop, the demand for financial and professional services is increasing at an exponential rate, and so is the call for information from our members in the lead-up to Shanghai Expo 2010.

“Globalisation, sovereign wealth funds, emerging markets and increasing trade are just some of the factors presenting new and exciting financial and professional services opportunities in China.

“Professionaliverpool is hosting this ‘new markets’ event with an extended invitation to members of the Liverpool Law Society and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.”
