Conference supplier wins council acclaim

TRAINING provider Partnership for Learning (PfL) in Speke has been named as a preferred conference supplier for Knowsley Council.
The tender is another sign of a successful 2008 for PfL, which has so far this year seen conference bookings up 20% on the same period in 2007.
The centre, which has 18 conferencing suites and a specialist IT suite, has recently hosted clients including NPower, New Balance and the Alternative Futures group.
Kelly Convey, conference and event manager at PfL, said: “We’re delighted to have won this tender to be a preferred supplier for Knowsley Council and it is a testament to all the hard work of our staff.
“We have built up a great relationship with Knowsley Council over the years, and they have been impressed with the level of customer service that we offer here at PfL to both our clients and our guests.”
Cllr Norman Keats, Knowsley cabinet member for finance and IT, said: “We are very pleased by the facilities offered at PfL.”
