New Mind get thinking caps on for £250,000 resort website revamp

AWARD-WINNING Liverpool new media agency New Mind has clinched a £250,000 deal to overhaul Brighton and Hove’s tourism website.

The five-year contract was awarded following a tender process involving destination management system suppliers from across Europe.

The new visitbrighton.com website, powered by New Mind’s Destination Management System, will be the vanguard of their marketing effort to position the city as a cosmopolitan, creative visitor destination.

The finished tourism site will boast a whole host of features including online booking, itinerary planners and dynamic mapping, as well as a suite of visitor enquiry tools that will be used in the city’s visitor information centre.

Richard Veal, New Mind’s managing director, said: “We are delighted that our expertise has once again been recognised through the awarding of the VisitBrighton contract.

“It’s now seven years since we developed the initial DMS prototype, and today it’s a global play technology.”
