LIVERPOOL pupils are beating both their Wirral and national counterparts, today’s GCSE performance tables show.
But Knowsley council is ranked bottom of the league tables for the second time in three years.
Official figures reveal 73.6% of Liverpool students managed five good GCSEs.
At this level, they have eclipsed pupils nationally and over the water in Wirral.
