Vogel hopeful of Everton deal

JOHANN VOGEL remains hopeful of agreeing a move to Everton.

The Swiss midfielder has held talks over a possible switch to Goodison Park, but the deal has been held up because of complications with Real Betis.

The player’s agent Angelo Semeraro is confident a compromise will be reached to allow Vogel to move on.

“We are waiting to see if we can agree a deal with Betis,” Semeraro said.

“Things have been held up on their side. We have had a good proposition from Everton and I am very optimistic about the move to Everton.

“Johann is keen to come to England and Everton are in the Uefa Cup next season.”
