European victory for Everton

EVERTON Ladies beat Gintra Universitetas 4-0 in their first ever European game yesterday in Lithuania.
Goals before half-time from Fara Williams and Jody Handley were added to in the second period by Becky Easton and Rachel Unitt.
Manager Mo Marley said, “It was difficult today. It took us a while to get going, but by the time the second half came around, we settled. They were quite physical and they stopped us trying to play.”
