UEFA tickets misery for Everton fans

THOUSANDS of Everton fans face being turned away at the turnstiles in Nuremberg after being caught up in another UEFA ticket fiasco.

FC Nuremberg sold an estimated 8,000 tickets to known Toffees fans for home sections of the ground.

But with only days before the game the German club has decided to withdraw all tickets sold to Everton fans due to "safety reasons."

This is because German council and police officials have deemed the game "a risk match."

Merseyside police has urged fans without a ticket to avoid turning up to the ground and watch the match at local venues in Nuremberg instead.
