Everton FC rumourmill: Kenwright "angry," Newcastle number 2 for Goodison, Battle with LFC for player, EFC departures

Bill Kenwright is said to be "seething" over comments by attributed to David Moyes that he has not had answers regarding his contract at the club, and that he doesn't know when he will have those answers.

Moyes apparently made the comments last week, and an article in the Sunday Express claims that the EExpress newspaper's "boardroom source"  has claimed that there was a deal worth £10m over 5 years for the manager on the table.

Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan is set to lose assistant manager Steve Round to Everton, according to a Sunday newspaper.

The Mail on Sunday says Round is interesting Everton, where manager Dave Moyes is still to sign a replacement for Alan Irvine, who left for Preston earlier this season.

Everton are set to do battle for a player with Liverpool.

Valencia winger Joaquin is ready to leave Spain to play in England and the two clubs on Merseyside might be ready to fight over him according to web reports.

The Spanish international who plays on the right wing would be a welcome addition to both clubs, and many more in the Premier League.

Both clubs are said to be interested in the player.

David Moyes has confirmed in his programme notes for their fixture against Newcastle that both Thomas Gravesen and Stefan Wessels will depart the club after the final game of the season.

Gravesen will return to Celtic where he was on loan from whilst Wessels will be a free agent after limited appearances.

Moyes has of late confirmed he will look at bringing not only quality into the club but also quantity.
