Joleon Lescott adds Kipper prize to Everton FC awards

JOLEON LESCOTT followed up his two official Everton Player of the Year awards by being named Blue Kipper’s Star Man of the Season.
The England defender was cheered by more than 700 Evertonians at the Olympia to collect his prize at the eighth annual Blue Kipper presentation night.
Also present were Lescott’s Everton team-mate Lee Carsley, who collected a £1,000 cheque from Blue Kipper – an independent Everton supporters’ website – for the Down’s Syndrome Association and manager David Moyes, who accepted a £2,000 cheque on behalf of the Everton Former Players Foundation.
The Brian Labone True Evertonian Award went to Dr David France who saw his collection of Everton memorabilia obtained by the Everton Charitable Trust during the season.
