Recipe: Rocky Road

THIS is a very messy dish which kids will love to make and eat. If you melt the chocolate in the microwave instead of in a bain marie there is no cooking involved.

Ingredients

450g block of Dairy Milk Chocolate

200g mini marshmallows

200g mixed, crushed nuts

Utensils

Pan of hot water

30 x 25cm tray lined with greaseproof paper

Method

1. Break the chocolate into small pieces in a glass bowl and place over a pan of hot water, stirring until the chocolate is melted.

2. Stir in the marshmallows and crushed nuts, coating thoroughly with the chocolate.

3. Pour on to the tray and smooth over with the back of a spoon.

4. Place in fridge until set then take out, break into chunks and devour.
