AN EASY variation on the pizza theme, these triangles can be loaded with your children’s favourite toppings such as sliced pepperoni, chopped tomatoes or sliced mushrooms.
Ingredients
1 small tube tomato puree
Some diced chorizo sausage
Grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
1 packet frozen puff pastry
Method
1. Roll out puff pastry to about 2mm thickness. Cut into 15ml squares and then cut each square diagonally.
2. Spread each wedge generously with tomato puree and sprinkle on diced chorizo and grated mozzarella or some of your favourite toppings.
3. Place on an ungreased baking sheet in a hot oven, usually at 220°C/450°F, for eight to 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them so the top doesn’t singe.
