A QUICK and delicious summer treat that makes use of a healthy selection of fruits. Use dark chocolate for a healthier option if the kids will eat it, otherwise substitute for plain.
Ingredients
Pieces of fresh fruit, eg bananas, apple, strawberries, pineapple, pear
100g dark chocolate
Kebab sticks
Method
1. Cut the fruit into bite size chunks.
2. Break the pieces of dark chocolate into a bowl and melt in the microwave. Stir every 20 seconds until melted.
3. Dip each piece of fruit halfway into the melted chocolate and thread onto a skewer. Repeat until all fruit is used.
4. Place skewers onto grease-proof paper and pop into fridge to harden chocolate.
