Recipe: Purple Coleslaw

PURPLE COLESLAW (Makes 6-8 servings)

THE red cabbage mixed with the mayonnaise in this recipe turns the coleslaw purple. Try it as a topping on your own barbecued "purple" burgers.

Ingredients

1 carrot

Half a small red cabbage

1 red onion

2-3 tbsps mayonnaise

Salt and black pepper

Method

1. Get an adult to thinly slice cabbage, grate carrot and finely dice the red onion.

2. Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and add dollops of mayonnaise, mixing with a wooden spoon until they are well coated.

3. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
