CHILDREN will enjoy threading together these colourful barbecue ingredients on wooden skewers just as much as they will enjoy eating them.
Ingredients (serves 4)
1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
1 packet of Halloumi cheese
1 jar pesto
Wooden Skewers
Method
1. Simply dice the Halloumi into bite size pieces and thread on a skewer alternately with cherry tomatoes. Repeat until skewer is full.
2. Make up four skewers in this way then grill on some tin foil at the back of the barbecue for 5-10 minutes.
3. When serving, place across the middle of a plate. Finally take a teaspoon or two of pesto and drizzle around the rim of the plate.
