Chicken Jalfrezi by the Gulshan Indian Restaurant

THE Chefs from The Gulshan Restaurant with a recipe for Chicken Jalfrezi

Ingredients

1 tsp garlic
1 tsp ginger
1 sliced onion
1 quartered fresh tomato
2 quartered green peppers
Mixed spices
1 tsp tomato puree
½ tsp chilli powder
7oz cubed chicken
Fresh lemon

Method

1. Fry the onion, the garlic and ginger. Add onion  and green peppers, then stir in the fresh tomato.

2. Mix in the spices, tomato puree and chilli  powder, and then the cubed chicken and a dash  of lemon juice.

3. Simmer gently for a minute, then add a spoon  of base curry sauce.

4. Simmer for another two to three minutes. Serve  topped with fresh coriander.
