Sausage and cheese twists
Ingredients
1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry
16 chipolata sausages
200g cheddar cheese
4 dsp burger relish
4 dsp mayo
Ingredients
1. Pre-heat oven to 220ºC, roll out the pastry into a large square, sprinkle evenly with the cheese, squish it down into the pastry so it sticks.
2. Cut into 1cm strips (should get 16) then, with the cheese facing inwards, wrap round the sausage from one end to the other. This can be a bit fiddly.
3. Place on a baking tray so the ends of the pastry are underneath, and put in the centre of the oven for approx 20 mins until pastry is golden and sausages are cooked.
4. While they are cooking, make a dipping sauce by mixing the burger relish and mayonnaise.
5. Leave sausages to cool slightly, then dip and enjoy. You will need napkins for messy fingers!
