Play-off decides Tamsel at Prestatyn

JAMES HARPER (Seaton Carew) won the Tamsel Tour’s Prestatyn tournament at the first play-off hole against David Walker (The Chase).

Both players had finished tied with two-under-par 70s.

Harper proved his liking for Links courses having won at Leasowe in 2006.

Lee Clark (Beeston Fields) and Phil Barlow (Helsby) tied for third on 71 with Barry Taylor (Houghwood) and Mike Kanski (Hesketh) sharing fifth on 72. John Cheetham (Marriott Worsley Park) took clear seventh on 73.

Andrew Bradley (Doncaster) still leads the Chester-based Tour’s Order of Merit ahead of Harper, who closed the gap to 22 points behind, followed by Paul Wesselingh (Kedleston Park). Walker moves to fourth with Ian Keenan (Royal Liverpool) in fifth.
