Birdie blitz

MARK Bradley hit the birdie trail at Marriott Worsley Park to win the Northern Golf Players’ Tour fixture.

The Chorley professional, who defends his PGA North Region Championship crown at Northumberland club Burgham Park later this month, rolled in eight all told.

But he also collected a double bogey and three single ones on his way to a three-under-par 68, a shot ahead of Eastham Lodge’s Nick Sargent and Barry Taylor (Houghwood).
