PAUL WARING maintained his steady start to life on the European Challenge Tour by completing all four rounds for the fifth time in six starts.

The Bromborough golfer made a promising start at the doc Salbe PGA European Challenge in Germany with rounds of 69,71,69.

A final day 74 took some of the gloss off his week’s work with a five under total of 283 leaving him in 46th place overall.

Waring is 79th in the Challenge Tour rankings after just six appearances with 18,106 euros.

Former Cheshire county colleague David Horsey finished third overall after shooting 69,71,65,66 for 271.
