SANDIWAY continued their successful season by winning the A final at the East-West Shield finals, organised by the Cheshire County Ladies Golf Association.
They beat Runcorn at Crewe while Royal Liverpool beat Didsbury in the B final.
The Chester club’s winning run had continued in the East Cheshire Inter-Club Shield finals at Mellor & Townscliffe when they beat Tytherington GC in the A Team competition. Didsbury GC beat Ringway GC in the B Team event and Tytherington beat Prestbury GC in the Plate Team Final.
