Stephen Foster wins EGU prize

CHESHIRE Golf Union secretary Stephen Foster won the Guests Prize at the annual EGU Presidents and Guests Tournament played over the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa.

The Hotchkin is proving lucky for Foster as this was his third victory over the course.

“I’ve won the Fred Caroe Trophy here as well as the secretary prize so I like it here,” he said.

Foster, off four at Chester Golf Club, made a flying start with a birdie at the first and eventually signed for 38 points.
