Open tickets: The details

SPECTATORS who want to watch Padraig Harrington defend his Open title at Royal Birkdale next July can buy a season ticket to cover eight days of official practice and Championship play for £180 before the January 31 deadline.

“The cost represents a 40% discount when compared to daily admission charges,” said David Hill, Director of Championships at The R&A. A daily ticket will cost £55.
