Golf: Charity day for North Wales children’s hospice

NORTHOP Country Park is staging a celebrity golf tournament on May 19 to raise funds for North Wales children’s hospice, y Gobaith.
Supporters of the event at the Flintshire course include former Everton and Wales captain Kevin Ratcliffe and Liverpool comedian Stan Boardman. A team of three players – joined by a celebrity – will be charged £500 to enter. The day will include a four-course dinner and entertainment.
